It was almost 8 p.m and I couldn't find any work that could make the clock go faster.
"I don't want to stay here and read those happy new year status, posted in same old fashioned way on facebook" I said, deciding to go for a drive and thinking that the city must be enlightened with joy and smiles of the people all around.
There is always a second thought waiting in queue to debate with the first thought
"What if the idea of driving to city happened to be boring ?" Debated my thoughtful mind.
"But it would not be as boring as sitting in this room and browsing through social media" I gave a second thought and rushed out of that room to explore the city.
The City was decorating their houses to welcome the new beginning, the glitters, the lights, the smiles on people's face enlightening their beauty.
You can just keep seeing, you need to observe, and When you observe you see something that others can't see.
Amidst all the decorated houses, I saw a small house having an iron gate. A father pouring oil in to small lamp and his child who was curiously looking at him.
With a little friction and the mighty match stick, he gave light of lamp to his house.
"Happy New Year" he said picking up his child, smiling and taking him inside the house.
Freezing wind, glowing lights and glitters,
"How would the lamp survive to keep glowing?" I wanted to ask the man but I guess nature wanted to answer this question itself. power went off though for 2 minutes but it did gave me my answer.
The Answer that can be the most important lesson of life.
"Lamp might be nervous standing between the brightest of the light in the city and facing the freezing wind.
And that's what we are the "Lamps"
Standing between brightest people in the world facing some of the worst situation life putting forward to use
The Power off took away all the brightness on the street but the lamp was still glowing cutting away the darkness around it.
The Darkest hour brings out the brightest side in you.
Just like that lamp glowed in the dark cutting the darkness around it
So will we, stand still, face the wind and respect the brighter side because if you managed to fight that brightness , you will be definetly glowing in darkness
Be a proud lamp
And one day you'll definitely be a champ.
